2008 Off to School!!!

August 26th was our first day of school. Its so wierd to only have 2 schools to think about now. Chase is at Pearce elementary in 4th grade. Tyler is a senior, Ronnie a junior and Caitlynn is a freshman at Northwest highschool. That is scary...It seems way to fast and those 3 will all be gone. I keep asking myself....Where did all my babies go??? Time to get busy with college applications and senior yearbook stuff all over again...Yikes!!!

Ronnie & Jonathans BIG 16TH Party

Ronnie waited all summer but he finally had his friends 16th birthday bash!!! It was a huge success with 26 (yes 26) girls and boys! They swam in the pool, played Rock Band, ate and ate, talked and giggled!!! The girls went home by 11:30 and 12 boys spent the night! Some did not sleep until 6 am! Well we all survived and Ronnie has some great memories....and thats what matters most!!!!

Out with the Old In with the Kinda New

Ron and I have been trying to figure out how to get rid of our gas hog cars for quite awhile now. After much research online about MPG's we spent 3 days at CarMax car shopping. We still needed one bigger car for the whole family, and we wanted one small car that I could run with all over town. So we went and sold our two cars and bought these. Ron loves his 2005 Durango w/3rd row seats, it was a great deal and gets better mpgs than his truck. I also love my 2007 Nissan Versa which gets 35 mpg/highway, it averages about 29mpg's. This is a huge improvement over my 10/12mpg Escalade. I am sooo excited to save all that gas money!!!

End of Summer Pool Fun!!!

This summer has been more crazy than any in recent memory. Actually this past year too!! It was so nice to sit outside by the pool this day and watch the kids in the pool. That is something I have not done much this year. I love watching Ronnie with Luke. He loves him soooo much and gets so excited with every little thing he does. It was especially fun watching them in the pool. Luke loves to "swim" but he also loves to try and drink the pool....not so good!!

10 Months...look what I can do!

Every month since Luke was born we do the "Giraffe" picture...he is now much bigger than his Giraffe!!

Another first....4th of July Fireworks...he cried every time they went off...but by the end of the night he just would stare at them with this petrified look on his face.

His BIGGEST milestone yet, WALKING AT 10- 1/2 MONTHS. He just takes right off even though he is unsteady and wobbly he just goes:) And then he claps and says YEAH right along with the rest of us. His other words MaMa, DaDa, BaBa, ByBy, NightNight, uh-ooo, Bubble(anytime I chew gum he says "bubble" and stares at my mouth waiting) He waves and says a high pitched "hiii", and makes a really cool barking sound copying our dog chelsea. He also just babbles...we are VERY prejudice, but we think he's a Genius!!!

Luke was having lunch when I noticed he was "folding" his hands like for a prayer. It was just too cute...he just keeps amazing us!!
