6 months adventures

Luke is cuter than ever. The first picture is his monthly shot with his musical giraffe, we started this at 1 month to see how big he is getting compared to his giraffe. At 6 months Luke is doing all sorts of new tricks. He loves to roll all over front to back and back to front. He literally runs around his toy table, his new nickname is "speedy gonzalas", he eats veggies and fruit, honeycomb & cheerios, and loves to chew on zwieback toast, he love to grab everything esp. cell phones. He drools & drools and chews on EVERYTHING but no teeth yet. He loves his big brother chase who always makes him smile and laugh! He also loves to hear himself scream! What a great addition to our family!

Gone Country

Rochele has gone country and we are all starting to join!! She got to fulfill a lifelong dream and go horsback riding last week, she was scared at first, but loved it. She listens to country ALL the time and we are all singing along, Ron is especially happy about this. For those of you country music fans, Ron & Rochele will be dancing to "I loved her first" at the reception, everyone get out your tissues.

Luke is 5 months

I can't tell you how much fun we have had with Luke, and I mean all of us. The kids love him and kiss him like crazy. I just had to take a picture of his new sweater, a clearance item of course, he looks just like Rochele & Chase did at his age. He has given up nursing and loves his bottle and eating anything he can grab, but mom trys hard to restrict him to cereal, and baby food. He has a few nicknames too..Rochele-My baby, Tyler-My boy, Ronnie-little dickens, Caitylnn-Monkey or chunky monkeyMom-Pumpkin, lukey babukie!

Luke's first snow

Yes I know the pictures are sideways, but I'm just too tired to figure out how to change it. At 10pm on Feb. 13th we got the most snow since we have lived here. 1 1/2 inches and it didn't melt for 12 hours. Kathy was here and got to enjoy our winter wonderland. Parents let the kids out at 10:30 at night to play in the snow it was fun. The kids enjoyed having school off the next day, which is a given anytime we get even a dusting. But this snow was big beautiful flakes.

At 4 months luke was rolling from his stomach to his back. This interupted our peaceful nights for a short time, you see he sleeps on his stomach and every time he rolled over onto his back he woke up. Little stinker! Thankfully he learned how to go to sleep on his back!

Pinewood Derby

HoneyBee from Transformers was Chase's car this year. His car won several heats and he was all smiles, Chase would have loved to win, but we were just relieved to have a car in the running this year.

Jan. 11th Grammy & Grampy Stanley came to visit and meet Baby Luke. We had a great weekend with them, playing ups and down, eating juju beans and going to Cracker Barrell. We were sad to see them go and sad Grampy was so sick the last day he was here. Luke was very fascinated with Grampy's beard and enjoyed pulling on it, he was not the first of our kids to play "pull on grampys whiskers" it seems to be a tradition.

Tyler is so proud that he taught Luke how to stick out his tongue, he does it all the time. They are both so stinken cute!!!
